My Dream Bed
Are you the type of person that likes the "a la carte" menu at a fine restaurant? Do you pick and choose the tools for your projects, or just buy one of those all purpose kits at the big box store? In other words, do you like to customize your day-to-day experiences to suit your own needs and interests?
If you're not an off-the-shelf kind of person, you may enjoy designing your own sleep experience from the product line we call "My Dream Bed."
The idea is simple:
- Make a mattress selection from either our innerspring or foam collection
- Add a deep, cozy pillow top - conventional foam, memory foam, latex, or our brand new gel-foam
- Support the mattress components with a spring foundation, a foam foundation, or spiffy platform bed
Your PillowTop Experience:
- Our toppers are literally Pillows On Top - thick, reversible, comfort layers that cocoon the body. They are "Oh, so cuddly" for the nesters amongst us.
- The overall comfort of the bed comes from the marriage of a pillow top and an underlying mattress unit. There will be several pairings from which to choose. Select your mattress first then consider the topper.
- The mattress unit below our pillowtops is two-sided so it also can be reversed (flipped) for longer useful life.
The Pillow Top mystique:
People sometimes think that "a pillow top" is the go-to selection of the sleep products industry. Remember, billions of dollars, tons and tons of cash, are spent each year in advertising the next great thing in consumer products. When one company comes up with a new concept with an appealing hook, competitors will follow suit with their own version. Advertising words are what drive people into stores. When asked what they want, people will typically blurt out the first words they associate with a product category. "Pillow top" is such an expression. It is as ubiquitous as a cowboy hat on a male country singer. However, a pillow top construction may not be best selection for you.
At Sleepers, we don't expressly try to sell you on a concept. We offer you alternatives and give you good information that will help you make the best selection for your needs. Sometimes a more conventional/traditional product is the right one for you.
